What Love Cannot Hold

《愛無法盛裝的事物》這個系列以雲、火、水、針、玻璃與玫瑰等物件，建構愛情裡相互矛盾的狀態。柔軟與尖銳、透明與束縛、流動與殘留同時存在；液體滲入水中，痕跡留在花與不同材質表面。作品不是試圖定義愛情，而是觀看人在一段關係裡如何彼此改變，以及有些感受一旦發生，就無法被完整保存，也無法回到原來的位置。

This series uses clouds, fire, water, needles, glass, and roses to construct the conflicting states within love. Softness and sharpness, transparency and restraint, movement and residue exist side by side. Liquids disperse, surfaces absorb, and traces remain. Rather than defining love, the work looks at how people alter one another within a relationship, and how certain feelings, once experienced, cannot be fully contained or returned to their original state.
